Description Well established, family owned company is looking to add a Plant Engineer to their organization.

Essential Responsibilities are:
- Development of viable Maintenance/Engineering budget.
- Strong knowledge of plant PLC operations, back logging programs, technician development, and equipment operations.
- Ability to track and control cost equipment installations/modifications.
- Ability to manage labor relations through the application of consistent practices while addressing employee grievances, hire/discharge practices.
- Implement programs to address work performance, GMPs, safety awareness, plant sanitation, and product quality expectations.
- Responsible for electrical and mechanical equipment layouts and modification of facilities within the plant.
- Direct and assist in the operations and maintenance of steam generating, electrical, compressed gases, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform environmental, safety, sanitation and other engineering duties as requested.
- Interface with OEM equipment manufacturers and vendors on a regular basis.

Requirements are:
- Full understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations relative to plant operations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Must have a minimum of 7 years in a supervisory position utilizing a combination of technical, managerial, and financial expertise.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing industry a plus and regulation inspection procedures highly desirable.
- Proven ability to train and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing profitability and growth.
- Must be able to work hands on within the plant and be on the floor as needed.
- Must have an operational background in PLC trouble shooting, electrical/control circuitry, refrigeration, fuel burning equipment and machine mechanics.
