DescriptionProduct Design Engineer - Fracture Plate
We are a global orthopedic implant manufacture regulated by the FDA and helping people become mobile. Our Produce Design Group seeks a Product Design Engineer with Fracture Plate experience within the orthopedic industry.
In this role, you shall conducts product design verification/validation testing for compliance with regulatory standards with a focus on Fracture Plate development. In addition, you are supporting other product development teams in developing test protocols/reports and test-fixture designs of project deliverables, design documents, drawings and device master record packages for Fracture Plate products. You work closely with regulatory affairs and FDA compliance developing prototype and finished products in Titanium, Stainless Steel for medical device uses. The Product Design Engineer uses CAD systems to develop these products for consumers globally.
We anticipate your background to be customer / consumer centric in an orthopedic implant environment performing Product Designs with an emphasis on Fracture Plate products. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering, and at least 3 years of specific experience relating to design of Fracture Plate / internal fixation systems for fracture repair.
Your background MUST be Medical Device industry oriented in a product development engineering position. Possessing some General knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the human body is critical for this role.
