DescriptionManage 60-100 hourly associates in manufacturing plastic cups utilizing deep draw in-line thermoforming and extrusion processes. 3 shift operation.
Must have previous management experience. Preferr someone with experience in the operation of Brown thermoformers & Davis Standard extruders.
Ensure all safety rules are followed and enforced.
Quality of departmental product.
Report accurate production figures.
Maintain house keeping and product safety under guidelines of A.S.I., A.I.B. and F.D.A good manufacturing procedures.
Work directly with maintenance department to ensure production equipment and production percentages are maintained.
Test new product.
Acquisition of new machinery.
Tooling maintenance and inventory.
If the extrusion department manager is out of the building, shift supervisors will assume the responsibilities.
High school education and some college and/or related experience required; Previous supervisory experience necessary.
