Set your direction with an industry leader within a nationally-known manufacturer / supplier of consumer products. As a result of substantial growth in our industry, we are expanding our marketing team and creating new Brand Manager Role in our Northern Indiana location.

Our ideal Manager candidate should possess a BS degree in Marketing, with a minimum of one year to five years PRODUCT / BRANDING / MARKETING experience in a CONSUMER PRODUCTS. A successful track record in developing and executing innovative product/brand launches as well as increasing sales and profit volume through creative planning, researching, P&L responsibility, team-leading and networking is essential.

In this role, you are responsible to;

* Develop and recommend short-and long-range business strategy for the marketing of the assigned products.
* Develop and recommend short-and long-range sales and profit objectives for assigned products. Working with sales management, monitor and forecast progress against plans.
* Develop marketing plans, product marketing objectives and strategies for achieving approved sales and profit objectives.
* Prepare market plans, product sales forecasts, advertising and promotion materials and expense budgets and schedules that will effectively implement the approved marketing plans.
* Implement approved product marketing plans, reviewing advertising and promotion expenses to assure that the plan is being followed and results are optimized.
* Analyze sales and profit reports and recommend program changes concerning advertising, promotion, and sales methods in order to optimize profit.
* Responsible for the development, recommendation, and follow through production of all advertising, promotion, packaging, and labeling (including design) in order to assure high quality standards and compliance with divisional directives and governmental regulations.
* Develop product promotion programs for approval regarding primary product line responsibility; this includes incentive programs for Dealers, Dentists, and gift programs for Dealer representatives, etc. Work with Sales and Finance departments in implementation of programs.
* Develop copy for agencies and develop literature such as product sampling programs, direct mail programs etc; review for final deposition all approved final copy and assigned budgetary expenditures.
* Responsible for evaluating product concepts and determining viability. After concept approval, handle introduction of new products in the market.
* Direct activities necessary for the control of expenses, reporting of results against plan, and making recommendations for current and long-range marketing strategies for established products line.
* Keep abreast of competition relative to their position in pricing, new products and new market developments, advertising, product acceptance, and customer opinion.
* Contact Opinion Leaders who lecture on new technologies to inform them of our latest product information and to invoke input/participation.
* Attend trade shows and periodically work with field sales personnel in order to stay in touch with sales and customers.
* Manage trouble-shooting and product difficulties to determine ongoing product problems, etc.
