DESIGN ENGINEER - REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS

OVERVIEW
Design and develop complex commercial refrigeration systems.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Identify customer refrigeration product requirements
* Apply knowledge of engineering principles to design products
* Select and approve components for products for function and safety
* Implement standardization of parts and components
* Provide product, service and equipment technical and engineering information
* Assure that products meet the requirements of approval agencies
* Provide support in fabrication, operation, application, installation and repair of systems
* Maintain and provide reports of development records
* Maintain continuing professional and technical education
* Provide guidance and training to designers and drafters
* Work as a team member to achieve company goal and objectives
* Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
> BS Engineering plus 4 years of experience in refrigeration design / application engineering OR
> 2 year Engineering Degree plus 7 years in refrigeration design / application engineering
> Broad knowledge of products, refrigeration industry policies and procedures
> Working knowledge and experience with 3D software (SolidWorks preferred)
> Proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office products
> Working knowledge of IT solutions for engineering discipline
