Senior Cost Accountant

Nashville, TN -- relocation assistance is possible

Job Summary: The Senior Cost Accountant works with the Plant Controller to develop and monitor operation costs and metrics, such as; weekly labor and material costs, interpreting operation reports, monitoring actual results, forecasting, planning, and other analyses.  The Senior Cost Accountant will take part in developing the annual budget, consider new capital spending proposals, and estimate the cost of new products.  

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 
  • Five to seven years’ experience with cost accounting in manufacturing.
  • Prefer high-volume or food manufacturing experience.
