Our client, a leader in their industry in looking for an experienced Senior Sales Manager.
15 years’ experience in Automotive O/E, OE Service, and/or Aftermarket Sales. Ten years management of same. Experience with Toyota Motor Sales would be considered highly favorable.
Responsible for management and development of staff, continuous improvement of processes and methods, and the setting and achievement of organizational / departmental goals and objectives.
Responsible for Sales forecasting for planning and budgeting purposes, analysis and explanation of variances, and interim forecasts reflecting changing conditions leading to variances.
Responsible for monitoring the Automotive Industry and providing analysis of trends in the industry and the possible opportunities or threats that could result from those trends.
Responsible for the analysis and overall management of customer / product profitability.
Responsible for the identification and development of new customers and new market sales potential.
Management and optimization of product lifecycles, from new product launch through retirement.
Manages customer satisfaction levels through surveys and customer scoring systems and reports results to upper management.
Experience with costing, quoting, profitability analysis, and contract development.
Budget control for department.
Remanufacturing knowledge or experience very helpful.
Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
Bachelor Degree with emphasis on Business, Finance or Accounting.
