Job Title: Product Manager, Mobile Apps
Position Purpose:
The Mobile App Product Manager is responsible for defining the overall vision and management of mobile initiatives. The Manager drives mobile app products from initiation to delivery through careful planning, schedule management, influencing, and communicating status to key stakeholders. This Manager also contributes in the planning, execution and the delivery of launching and maintaining each mobile app release.
Essential Functions:
  1. Build clear roadmap for the mobile apps, and maintain the roadmap. Work closely with stakeholders to align business strategy and program execution. Develop and implement the project life cycle development plan. 5
  2. Document, organize and facilitate team meetings and milestone reviews. Provide regular status updates to senior management and recommend potential corrective actions as appropriate.  
  3. Anticipate problems and build risk mitigation plans accordingly. Communicate critical issues in a timely manner. Own and manage escalations, problem resolutions and corrective actions.  
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Experience:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software product management from inception to end of life
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with Xamarin or equivalent
  • Agile development and/or Kanban management
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing high priority projects with varying deadlines
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate small project teams
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to adapt quickly to scope changes and assess impact to program
  • Ability to identify impact for small and large scale initiatives
  • Conflict resolution skills 
  • eCommerce, Retailer, SKU, digital marketing experience
  • Experience dealing with highly-available, business critical systems
  • Ability to influence and motivate others
  • Ability to present to all levels, from individual contributors to executives
  • Engineering background in product development
  • Understanding of development tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management
  • Able to work effectively and coordinate development with trans-national development teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
