 Process Controls Engineer – Major Manufacturer
Salary $90,000 - $110,000 & Exceptional Benefits & Paid Relocation & Bonuses
Major manufacturer is seeking a Process Controls Engineer that can be trained & groomed for a higher level position.  This position provides day-to-day, technical support for the Operations to identify kaizen opportunities and drive plant reliability projects to improve the plant efficiency and cost.  Seeking someone who has experience with PLC – Allen Bradley, Rockwell Systems and Wonderware.  This position will report to the Engineering Manager.
The Process Controls Engineer responsibilities include:
  • Work with Plant Control technicians to provide guidance and training in support of the plant needs.
  • Provide troubleshooting expertise when technicians require assistance.
  • Manage selected capital projects from concept through implementation.
  • Manage Project cash flow forecasting
  • You will perform code compliance, power distribution, industrial automation and other electrical systems.
  • Deliver plant controls and automation strategy to manage the life cycle of aged equipment.
  • Perform basic process and project engineering calculations to include equipment sizing and rating.
  • Short circuit and arc flash calculations
  • Develop piping and instrumentation and process flow diagrams
  • Prepare specification and reports
  • Continually upgrade technical knowledge and capabilities.

Requirements for this Process Controls Engineering position:
  1. Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  3. Must have extensive experience with servo and VFD
  4. Able to read, understand, code and decode PLC systems, including troubleshooting these systems
  5. Must have experience with Allen Bradley PLC and Wonderware
  6. Experience in one or more of the areas of Industrial Power, PLC Programming (AB, Rockwell, and Wonderware) and project management.
  7. Strong analytical skills using tools such as statistics, downtime tracking, mechanical history, and project planning.
