. If you have the ability to program PLC & DCS systems, then we have an opportunity for you! Our client is a HUGE Global Manufacturer of Automotive products & is looking for an Electrical Engineer who will lead their Automation departments in cost savings, improvements, and productivity. You should have a hands-on approach and should be comfortable with PLC’s and Electrical Equipment troubleshooting. Looking for a versatile engineer that can wear many hats. The salary ranges from $85,000 - $110,000 plus great benefits – it’s a large company with great buying power – and generous paid relocation package for you and the family. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurances, disability income protection and a 401K program with company matching. If you’re ready to get your master’s degree, there is tuition reimbursement. We can only consider candidates with a Green Card, Permanent Residency, or Citizenship.

You need to have at least 5 years’ of experience working with PLC’s, PLC programming, automation controls, Control Systems, & DCS’s and have some project management experience under your tool belt. Like most of the USA, we have Allen Bradley & Rockwell equipment and need you to be fluent in Control/Compact/Micro/RS/Guard Logix, as well as PanelView, PowerFlex, Kinetix, Distributed IO, SLC 500, Studio 5000, EtherNet/IP systems.
Overall, we need your expertise, education, & experience for Project Management for improvements to the existing equipment and plan & budget for the new equipment projects. We need you to help increase productivity and quality of our automotive products.
Your regular routine will include PLC/DCS/HMI Programming as well as designing electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic machine controls. You’ll be working with internal and external customers to ensure that production quantities & product quality is met. Some days you’ll be working on large projects that will require multi-tasking, time management, & organizational skills.
This organization has facilities and suppliers located across the globe so some travel internationally is required. This is not a one dimensional job that will just interface with PLC’s and will also work heavily with all levels of team members and management.
