We have a global manufacturing client who is a leader in their market adding a Nation Account Manager for a major distributor in the USA. This very successful trend forward company wants to hire a NAM who can become their primary leader for this major distributor. They are seeking an assertive, highly skilled sales professional who has experience with direct account management and sales responsibility for a major distributor. This important position will provide management leadership and programs to drive profitability and growth. You will recommend products, promotions, displays, solutions and improvements while maintaining knowledge of market trends, developments and competitive situations and routinely share the information with members of the management team.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and must have at least 10 years of documented experience selling in the safety industry (gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.). Our client is already doing business with this major distributor and wants to accelerate it. Qualified candidates will possess excellent communication skills, an insatiable desire to succeed, imagination and solid presentation and negotiation skills. The National Account Manager will ideally be based in the Chicago area, but other major Midwestern cities will be considered (Milwaukee, Madison, Indianapolis, etc.); no relocation considered.
