Growing company is seeking a first shift Process Controls Engineer for their industrial manufacturing facility in Wisconsin.  You might have had the title Controls Engineer, Process Optimization Engineer; if so, read on as this is your opportunity to join a great group of engineers with a team consisting of electrical, mechanical, reliability, and process control engineers.  There is room to move up in this company that appreciates its’ engineers.  They pay well & promote well.  Your on call times are very limited to one week a quarter for this 24/7 facility – or less.
To be considered for this position in the heart of the Badger State, you’ll need work experience with process controls – PLCs & DCS.  You’ll need to be able to program, troubleshoot both PLC & DCS.  You must be able to get Delta V and Bailey to communicate – this is essential to our operations.  You’ll need working knowledge of project scope development, capital project management of at least $5M, project budget control, and MS Project.  There is less than 10% travel and that is mostly for training – paid for by the company.  Your experience should be in an automotive, metal fabrication, pulp & paper, paper converting, nonwovens, metal processing, electronics, or an industry that relies heavily on PLC & DCS for production line automation.

You main focus is to help the team bring the process controls systems to a predictive status and be less reactive.  We are striving to prevent big issues that create downtime.  Your openness to sharing knowledge & commitment to having a continuous improvements mindset will make you a key player on our team.
Your day-to-day activities will include working with the engineering team on capital projects for estimates & installation proposals and working with maintenance on the programming and service ports of the PLCs & DCS’s, Delta V & Bailey.  You’ll need to be a team player and have good communications skills as you’ll be sharing your knowledge with other employees.  You’ll work on capital projects with the team as they draw up plans & budgets.  You’ll manage your part of the budget and timeframe, keeping the team aware of the changes.  You will be integral to the team & company’s success as you hone your skills for your next promotion.  And it all starts here, so send your resume to Cindy today.
