Immediate need with a major automotive supplier!

In this roll as New Model Introduction Engineer you will:

Ensures compliance of export lab documentation
Set up RQM for data collection of all parts in pre-process
Facilitates update of quality documents
Coordinates audits
SOP (standard operating procedures) knowledge
Coordinate gage calibration programs
Tracks / supports re-inspection activities
Manages the quote request process through feasibility studies
Maintains / acquires data from Program Manager to ensure accurate quotation
Translates customer expectations into hard specifications for production department
Able to translate print requirements including GD&T into process design
Maintain quality system documentation
Training plan for new process / products in plant
Project Manager
FMEA and risk analysis
Responsible for keeping product development on schedule and meeting customer deadlines

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 2 years experience in the NMI within manufacturing processes (strong preference for automotive supplier experience). Understanding of TS16949 quality system requirements. Experience in leading the 8 step problem solving model with teams. PPaP package submission experience. Strong computer, communication and organizational skills. Must be able to travel to customer sites as necessary.

Qualifications Desired:
Greenbelt/Blackbelt certification. Print reading/GDT experience. Experience with minitab/statistical packages.
